Gartland prepares the sand, melts the iron and finishes the casting in a 100,000-square-foot facility which has been constantly upgraded to provide only the best in casting services. Facility cleanliness, lighting, equipment and plant layout are critical to providing high quality products to our customers.
Quality control is a philosophy of operation in every Gartland process. It is most obvious in the laboratory. The laboratory is responsible for the performance, evaluation and recording of all quality testing. This includes metal analysis, melting unit operating data, Brinell Hardness and layout. Special testing needs of customers can be accommodated, insuring that Gartland castings meet all specifications. The success of the Gartland Quality Control Program is demonstrated in the exceptionally low rejection rates from many and varied customers. It is this dependability that has enabled Gartland to retain valued clients through the years.
